Viper 300 Race Comments:

-Huge thanks to all the runners, pacers, crew members, photographers, volunteers, the Mamba team, and James Boler.

Having volunteered at numerous races over the past decade, I witnessed unparalleled courage at this event. Runners who seemed unable to take another step arrived at the aid station, where their crew and volunteers supported them as much as possible. After some food and rest, they were back out for another loop, refusing to let the weather defeat them.

Major credit to James Boler, who adapted to every challenge to ensure the Viper 200 was the best race possible. He is an outstanding race director.

Congratulations to all the runners! I’m excited to see what unfolds at the Mamba 100 in November.

-Drove through the park today, stopped, honked, and shouted encouragement to the runners! Such a burst of positive energy and excitement! They look fantastic! I'm thrilled to start my 50k race in the morning… and I love that James Boler is doing everything to make this possible for us! When I receive that medal tomorrow, it will be my hardest-earned one yet, made even more special knowing so much effort went into it for me because we have the Best RD ever!
